Where to Find Purple, Green & Black M&M’s

Overhead shot of a white table scattered with Purple, Green and Black M&M's.

You will need a cup of M&M’s for the cookie dough, and 1/4 cup to sprinkle on the top. Some years the special Halloween themed bag of M&M’s features these witchy colors of M&M’s, when they do we always buy a couple of extra bags because there are so many fun desserts you can make with them. If this is a year where the Halloween M&M bag features Orange and Black you’ll have to make your very own “Bewiched” mix. Here is where we find Purple, Green and Black/Brown. First, we trade the black for brown and pull the Green and Brown M&M’s from a regular bag of M&Ms and then we buy a bag of Purple M&M’s from the M&M website or Amazon.

Storage Instructions

These cookie bars should be stored in an airtight container.  And they will stay fresh longer if they are completely cool before you pack them up.  We usually add a layer of parchment paper between each row of bars in our plastic container.  They will stay fresh at room temperature for 2-3 days if you store them correctly in an air-tight container. They will last up to 3 months in the freezer.
