Homemade Glitter Easter Eggs

Homemade Glitter Easter Eggs

Yield 1 dozen eggs
Prep Time 10 minutes
Active Time 1 hour
Total Time 1 hour 10 minutes
Difficulty Easy

Materials

  • 1 dozen Plastic Easter Eggs
  • Mod Podge
  • Fine Glitter (your choice of colors)

Tools

  • Paintbrush
  • Plastic Spoon
  • Glitter Tray or Paper Bowl

Instructions

  1. Cover one-half of the plastic Easter Egg in Mod Podge.  Then, using a plastic spoon, cover the Mod Podge coated area of the egg with glitter. The glitter that doesn't stick to the Mod Podge will fall right off, ready to be used again.
  2. Once the bottom half was completely covered in glitter, let the egg dry for about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Once the glittered area was dry to the touch, I carefully painted Mod Podge onto the second half of the egg and finished covering the whole thing with glitter. Once the Mod Podge has dried, the glitter will be more translucent and sparkly.
