4th of July Candy Jars

These are my 4th of July Candy Jars ready for Independence Day 2014.  I made these candy jars with candlestick holders and try to keep them filled with holiday-theme candy year round.  This year’s red, white and blue candy is bubblegum and red vines.

Flag in a candy jar

For the smaller candy jar, I tried something different – I put a flag in the jar instead of candy.  I saw this idea on Pinterest and thought it looked cute.  Then I found these flags in the $1.00 section at Target and I thought the idea was even cuter!

Red Vines in Candy Jar

For the second candy jar I used a box of red vines.

And I used rows of red, white and blue gum balls in the third candy jar.

4th of July Candy Jars

These Holiday Candy Jars are a really fun DIY craft.  They make a great holiday decoration and also look pretty on a food table at a holiday party.  This red, white and blue version for 4th of July turned out very colorful and patriotic.
